What’s your addiction?

Vallabh Chitnis - IntuiWell - What's your addiction?

What’s your addiction?
Not alcohol.
Not cigarettes.
Not drugs.

I am talking about the addictions we rarely admit:

  • Tea/Coffee to “get through the day.”
  • Doom scrolling for the next dopamine hit.
  • Approval before we act.
  • Comfort zones that keep us small.
  • Routines we can’t imagine breaking.
  • Seeking external validation to “feel good.”

Addiction = Anything that owns you.

If it dictates your choices, mood, or energy, you’re the puppet, not the master.
And when it’s taken away, so is your peace.

So how do you break free?

  1. Get honest. Acknowledge it. Label it. Specify it. Denial is the lock. Honesty is the key.
  2. Test yourself. Skip that tea/coffee. Silence the phone. Drive the old car. Choose discomfort.
  3. Build resilience. Each act of resistance is a rep for your willpower. Every rep makes you stronger.

Freedom isn’t living without things.
Freedom is living without dependence.

At IntuiWell’s Personal Growth Program, we don’t just help you quit bad habits. We help you uncover hidden chains, regain control, and live life on your own terms.

Because the real question isn’t:
“Do you have an addiction?”

It is, “Are you brave enough to break it before it breaks you?”

Your turn:
What is the one habit that secretly owns you?
