Events are for you

Vallabh Chitnis - IntuiWell - Events are for you

Life doesn’t move in straight lines. Yet most of our stress comes from expecting it to.

“Pretend that every event—desired or unexpected—was willed to happen specifically for you.”
I read this today, which made me think of it as a mental discipline, not as blind positivity.

The real pain in your mind is the resistance and not the event.

When you assume events are “for you,” three things shift:

1. You stop fighting the moment.
Resistance exhausts you more than uncertainty.

2. You reclaim your energy.
Acceptance means clarity and not approval.
It returns your focus to what you can influence.

3. You respond instead of react.
This stance grounds you.
It sharpens your decisions.
It builds mental stability.

This perspective removes the panic around them, if not removes the challenges themselves.

And that’s where personal growth begins.
Inside the pause between what happens and how you show up.

Try this today:
When something disrupts your plan, stop for a moment.
Assume it’s part of your script.
Then act from strength, not fear.

Mindset shifts like this look small.
They change everything.
