Be Ruthless to the Things That Don’t Matter

Your time is limited, and much of it slips away on things that don’t matter.

You don’t say “No” because it’s easy. You do it because it clears space for what truly matters—clarity, fulfillment, and purpose.

As Seneca reminds us:

“You will realize you are dying before your time!”

Learning to say “No” isn’t selfish; it’s strategic. Each “No” to distractions and obligations is a “Yes” to your own life. Saying “No” might upset others, but it’s necessary to live with intention.

Today, when distractions and demands arise, pause and ask yourself: Does this matter?

Choose purpose over pleasing. The life you want depends on the “Nos” you’re willing to say.

What will you say “No” to today?
