“Only a fool rushes in.” – Epictetus.

Vallabh Chitnis - IntuiWell - Only a fool rushes in

Early in my career, I rushed into every battle, every meeting, every debate, every project. It broke me.

“Only a fool rushes in.” – Epictetus.

Epictetus was right. You don’t need to fight every battle.
Not at work. Not at home. Not in life.

Strength isn’t about rushing in.
Strength is about choosing when to.

Think of it:
– In chess, victory comes from ignoring small moves until the decisive one.
– In boxing, you save energy for the knockout punch.
– In leadership, you win by focusing on what truly matters.

Here’s the filter I use now:
1. Does this battle align with my goals and values?
2. Will it matter 6 months from now?
3. Am I the right person to fight it?

If the answer is “no,” I walk away.
And every time I do, I gain something bigger: clarity, energy, resilience.

At IntuiWell’s Personal Growth Program, we help people build this exact discipline.
Because when you stop fighting for everything, you start winning what counts.

Epictetus said only a fool rushes in. The smart? They choose their battles.

So, which one will you skip today?
