The Three Areas of Training

Vallabh Chitnis - IntuiWell - Clarity The Three Areas of Training

Your greatest workout isn’t in the gym.

We have all challenged our bodies, but how often do we train our thoughts and decisions?

1. Desires & Aversions

Ask: “Does this serve a real need, or is it just a craving?”

Example: Before you hit “Add to Cart,” pause. Are you buying it to fill a real gap or for instant gratification?

This prevents impulse spending and frees up resources for what truly matters.

2. Impulses to Act

Switch off autopilot. Question your reflexes.

Example: When you feel the urge to reply to an email at midnight, ask if it’s urgent or habit.

This practice protects your time and energy, reducing burnout.

3. Judgment

Notice how quickly you label an event “good” or “bad.”

Example: If a project fails, step back. Is it a total failure or a learning opportunity?

This mindset shift builds resilience and fuels consistent growth.

Pick one trigger today: shopping, email, labelling, or anything else.

Examine it carefully. Challenge it. Decide if it truly deserves your energy.
